FavKeep is a Mac app that keeps your saves on your Mac. This page explains what stays there, the little we hold on our servers, and who helps us run the service.
What stays on your Mac
Everything you save: posts, pins, videos, bookmarks, notes, images and the search index built from them. FavKeep fetches these from the services you connect, using the logins you already have on your Mac, and stores them in a library on your Mac. Your saves and your logins to those services are never sent to us.
Asking your saves questions runs on Apple's on-device model by default. If you choose Claude Code or Codex as the provider in Settings instead, the question and the saves it draws on go to that provider under your own account and their terms, not through us.
What we hold
- Your account: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
- Your plan: Free, Monthly or Lifetime, and its status.
- Your Macs: a device identifier, macOS version and FavKeep version for each Mac you sign in on.
- Activity days: which days you opened FavKeep, so we can count active users. Not what you did.
We don't sell this, use it for advertising, or share it beyond the processors below.
Who processes it
- Supabase hosts accounts and the data listed above.
- Resend sends sign-in codes and account emails.
- Dodo Payments is our merchant of record. It handles checkout, payment details, tax and invoices; we never see your card.
Your choices
You can use FavKeep's local library without connecting any service. To get a copy of your account data or delete your account, email support@favkeep.app and we'll do it within 30 days. Deleting your account doesn't touch the library on your Mac; delete the app and its data folder to remove that.
